NMBI Application Pack

Published

Hi everyone,

I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.

I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.

The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.

I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.

Thanks.

Hi Kayjay,

I got placement in Bon Secours Hospital in Cork. The Agency asked me if I can be ready for October Adaptation or else, the next Batch will be on June 2018. Even though I am not comfortable to leave in october (Expecting a Baby in November) I agreed because the process would be stuck for another 7 months

Is this for reals? I also got an email from my recruiter saying I'll be scheduled to leave for October, I was hoping it could also be November or December. I'm still on the assessment phase so until now I'm not even prepping my stuff.

BTW guys, anyone here who has review materials for adaptation?

Under what agency and hospital are you? In my case i have my DL but still no update from my agency.

I'm from KCR and my hospital is STGH (South Tipperary General Hospital). So far, they are responsive when I update them.

What do you mean by review materials? I though adaptation has minimal assessment than that of RCSI aptitude Test...i was expecting not to spend countless nights in a foreign country studying...
