Actually, the price is listed by credit: http://chamberlain.edu/docs/academics-admissions/tuition-grid-2011-12.pdf
The $28K figure assumes that a student needs 48 credits. In my case, I only needed 32, so my total cost was much less. And I'm not sure where you got the 27 credits ... the total program sample provided is, as I mentioned, 48 credits: http://chamberlain.edu/docs/curriculum-grids/rn-bsn-curriculum-grid.pdf
Just wanted to make sure the information here is accurate.
Well, I counted the nursing portion of the credits required for each school to determine the number of credits needed. Each school lists them differently, so it is hard to tell unless you only count the nursing parts. Of course, some people may have more credits needed if they don't have the required pre-requisites. All the info I got is from the web site and yes, there is some inference in my calculations, but I did the best I could with the info I had online, and I had not seen the documents you linked when I was searching Chamberlain's program website. Please feel free to correct and I will update the list.
I guess for Chamberlain, you could say $590/credit hour with 32 credits minimum ($18,880). It's a great list, though -- you've done some fabulous research! I have an old spreadsheet that I did for RN-BSN with similar info, but it's way out of date now (2008).
Hmmm, it will not let me edit my original post, only the ones I've posted subsequently...
THank you for your update!
