Hello everyone!
I'm new to this site, but have always googled it to read threads if I had a question and needed some answers. Now's my time to ask a question, so I'm hoping that I could get some help. =)
I'm a pre-nursing student and some schools that I'm applying for require NLN testing. I live in California (SF Bay Area), and most schools here offer ATI testing, but non NLN. I am trying VERY hard not to have to travel too far just to take this test. I called NLN, and unfortunately, they were of no help. All they suggested to was for me to go to the Board of Registered Nursing website and call all of the schools in CA!
I'm hoping asking this question here will speed up the process.

You can go to the NLN online testing website. It is different than the NLN site. It is the site where you actually take the exam. Google NLN online testing to find it. Register for an account which is free then go to the registration store. Start the process of registering for the exam and it will ask you which state then which institution. You won't actually register until you give them a credit card so you can check around to find the closest school.
Another thing you could try is to contact the schools you are applying to. They should be able to tell you where you can take the test. If you are applying to schools far from home you may need to travel to take the test. It seems to be a regional preference for schools.
