NLN and TEAS exam

Are the NLN and TEAS exam similar to one another? They both seem to be duplicates of the ACT exam, just that they don't have repeating sections and the words are changed to sound more medical like, possibly to clam up some people. Is there anyone who has taken both exams and can tell me if they're similar?

It's just that I only have a book for the NLN (which I got for free) and I can't afford to purchase a study guide for the TEAS, since the study guides are like 35 dollars. (This sounds pathetic, but true, as I can't even afford to pay the application fees for PBISON and LICHSON).

I am in the same boat as you are, I applied to PBISON and took the NLN exam on 2/11. I am now scheduled to take the TEAS at LICHSON on 3/6. I agree with you on the similarities of the two test, for that reason I will be using the nln book along with various websites to brush up on math, since that is my weakest subject. Unless you already have the TEAS guide book I don't think you should have to purchase it, especially if money is tight (as it is for everyone in these economies).
