NLN RN Pre Entrance Hunter College

Hi I was wandering if anyone applying to the Hunter College generic program for Fall 2016 could discuss the NLN RN Pre Entrance Exam and its contents. It'd also be great if people shared their score on the NLN exam and their experience.

Did you hear through Hunter email and what does the decision email look like? lol And congrats!

Thank you! I heard through the same email that I used on my NursingCAS application, which is NOT my Hunter email. It's the same email that I received the "thank you for applying to the program" email from Hunter when I submitted via NursingCAS.

Oh ok just got my acceptance letter as well!!! Finally relieved now!

I know! Just for future applicants, I got in with a 4.0 and 151 on my NLN.

I got accepted today for fall 2016! I had NLN score of 126 and GPA 3.9! Yay!

I am a ESL student. I get in with 3.8GPA and 130 NLN. Hunter is not as horrible as it sounds like. Try your best and you will get what you want.

Just read all the comments. Thanks all of you for the info. I took the Pre-entrance exam today, total 160 questions (60 for English, 40 for Math, and 60 for Science), each part has 40 min. In your exam, are total questions 214? I did so bad in English because I couldn't finish it on time. My composite score 120 (74% Rank). So worried. Do they look at score or percentile for decision? If 150 out of 214 total questions has the chance, I am hoping that 120 out of total 160 questions has the chance.
