NLN Question

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I recently took the NLN and got a composite score of 68. I found the test really hard and should have studied a lot more. What does this mean though? I was told i needed a composite of 50. can someone explain? thanks :)

Your composite score will be the score on the left, it is a weighted score. The numbers on the right side are percentiles so that means you have done better than that many percent of people.

If your school required a composite of 50 and you exceeded then you will at least make the minimum requirements.

I just took the NLN as well (and I won't share what I got unless you ask). The compsite score range from 0-200 with most falling in the 50-150 range. I know my school won't look at you if your under 100 and often-times it's higher then that. It all depends on your school.

What was your score? lol. At my school you need to have a composite of 50 or a verbal of 60. my composite was 68, my verbal was incredibly low. lol. i might just retest in october. i think thats when its been six months. lol :D

My school doesn't allow you to re-test.

I got a combined of 132 so chances are Ill get in. I hope/

Oh really? At my school you can retest after 6 months.

My school doesn't let you retest or retake any of the pre-reqs
