NKU absn fall 2011

Being accepted into the traditional program is required before you can even apply to the accelerated program. I received a letter from the University informing me of my acceptance. I would imagine the same process remains.

Thanks for the thoughts. I am waiting on the mail, as I was told letters went out last Thursday. Seeing how I am on the West coast, that may explain why I haven't gotten a letter either way yet. Hoping it's today. We shall see....

Hey all!!! My name is Justine & I was accepted into the NKU ABSN program starting in the the Fall 2012 semester! I was wondering how the program is going so far?! ANY tips you can give me? I am NOT working, however I do have a 3 month old that is my full time job. I just graduated from UK in Dec. with a BS in Psychology & minor in Biology. I'm excited/nervous to start. When do I need to run out to buy scrubs & all that? Will they have some sort of orientation?

Mattnnj (Doug),

I haven't heard from anyone in the program still. I would LOVE to talk to you about the program. I wish I could message you on here. I think you posted about being on NKU's FB page, but I couldn't find you. My name is Justine Boehringer if you can find me on FB.

First, I would love to know any overall thoughts about the program.

Have you taken the HESI exit exam & was it hard?

Any pointers about certain professors?

Did you use your text books for all the classes that require them? Did you have to bring any books to class with you?

What is the hardest part about the ASBN program?

What will be most time consuming?

If you can think of anything else to tell me, I would greatly appreciate the advice!

Doug,

I haven't received a friend request on FB. Are you sure you sent it to the right person? I may be listed as Justine Gross Boehringer. It should say I graduated from UK and something about ABSN NKU.
