Hi Deliah,

I'm taking my HESI at the Clark location, how about you? I'm applying to the Jersey City as well. I'm with you, I'm very nervous too, but have been studying my butt off lately. I hope that we all get in.

Hey everyone! Glad I found this thread! I don't want to make this post too long, but I have a concern about the NJCU tuition and loans.

To start off, I have a bachelor's and master's degree in marine bio., but I've made the decision to switch my career (I know, crazy LOL). I plan to apply to the accelerated program next year as I just started taking my prereqs this year.

I did a lot of searching for how much NJCU tuition will be as well as for Rutgers, Ramapo, etc. and wow it is a lot! I plan to take another loan for nursing school, but my question is, if FASFA only provides 12,500$ for the year and total cumulative loan at NJCU is about 57,500$, then how does one student pay for each semester? I am boggled by this amount and kinda stressed at how I am going to pay if FASFA loan can't cover each semester. I'm already paying out of pocket for my prereqs, so I kinda sealed the deal to go to nursing school LOL..

I would love to know how it is working out for you and if you have any advice, please let me know! I hope your 2021 semester goes great!! Thanks!

Hey everyone Im planning on applying but I'm wondering will everyone have there pre reqs done by the application deadline. Can we still apply if we still have a course I nprogress?

Hii it is my understanding that all pre reqs and degree should be awarded before application deadline . But I would email them to be sure

Hmmm good question I haven’t looked too much into finances to be honest . I’ve never taken out loans for my first degree

Hey! I’ll be taking mine at the NYC location, it’s closer to me. I’ve been studying like crazy also. We got this!

You could apply with prereqs still in progress but they have to be completed by the application deadline.

I’m depending on loans to cover my cost, it sucks to be adding to my already high student loan debt, but I gotta do what I gotta do LOL
