Just curious to hear what the most up to date wait times are for licensure by endorsement. I submitted my paperwork a week ago, sent transcripts and Nursys verification for my WI multistate license, and was able to already do fingerprinting. I saw today that my background check says "completed" and was pretty shocked it came in so fast! I accepted a job offer and have already had to push back the start date, so I'm just anxious to know how long the process took for others. Thanks!

It took over 5 weeks for me to get RN by endorsement in NJ. Getting my APN has been significantly longer.

Hey, not too sure who needs this information but I am a NJ resident who has been licensed in (RN) NY only, went through endorsement process on 10/28, anxiously I researched timing and saw an excess wait of around 2-3 months. I kept seeing people say that they had success going to the BON in Newark. Today is 11/16 today and went and had my license in 10 min after seeing someone. GO TO THE LOCATION AND GET LICENSED! Good luck to all.

Hi, I'm currently waiting for my licnese by endorsement and all I'm waiting for is my transcript to be sent, they are saying it takes 15 days to be sent electronically which I don't really understand because when I sent it through my school it says it was sent to the email in a day. I was wondering if anyone knows if I went in person to give in my official transcript is that okay? Or do I really have to wait the 15 days like they said? Thank you!
Hi Em! When I sent mine, I upload a receipt that showed I sent the transcript to the board of nursing portal. I don't know if it helped or not but it made me feel better to know they had proof of it.
Smart idea I'm gonna do that now! Was this the email they gave you to send it to ?

Just wanna confirm it's the right one. I start my dream job at the end of February and I'm kind of panicking I won't get my license in time!

You can definitely go to the Board of Nursing. I went to the office located in newark. They immediately processed my application. Previously, I was waiting for some time and it turns out that the issue was that my transcripts were in a different location within their system. Going in person definitely helps if you have the time! I was able to get my license almost immediately, I think it took a day to process.
Guys go in person if you can, they will not accept the transcripts from you but show the receipt that it was electronically sent to them. Don't wait on their timing, it will take forever. Good luck!

I am foreign educated nurse who had to also submit a CES to the NJ BON for the checklist of requirements they needed from me for the endorsement of my NY RN license to NJ. Do you think I should go to the NJ BON in Newark as soon as the CES says "report issued" or do I give it a couple of days for it to be in the NJ BON system?

Hi Ashley, I'm in the same process like you, did you get the "report issued" from CGFNS? Are they requiring the TOEFL/IELTS score, since it is required for NJ?

I got my "Report Issued" this past Saturday. I was NOT required to submit the TOEFL/IELTS score since I already have a license in NY and I am only endorsing it.
