NIU Fall 2010 Admission???

Since I got waitlisted at UIC, northern is my last chance for getting into a BSN program :crying2: Has anyone heard anything yet? Also, does anyone know anything about how competitive it is to get in, I sort of applied on a whim and I don't know much about the program.

Any NIU nursing students out there? Any insight would be helpful!!!

i just got a letter in the mail today saying i have been admitted for fall 2010.check your mail

I just got my letter, and I got accepted but for Spring 11, which is really confusing because I thought I was applying for Fall 10...? Nobody is answering in the office, probably because it's almost 5pm. Which semester were you accepted into?

It seems like only people who were waitlisted have heard from UIC, so there is still hope if you haven't heard.

congrats.i was accepted for fall 2010.if you check the school of nursing website,it says that students would be offered fall or spring entry point as determined by the school of nursing so i guess that is why you have spring 2011.

anna banana if you are still interested in getting into BSN program for fall 2010,u can still get in.I Know of a school in joliet that is still accepting fall 2010 application.i just applied there last week because i tot i wasnt going to get into UIC OR NIU.I was already scheduled to take their entrance exam and i was told after the exam, they get back to u in less than a week.

Hi! I am a student at UIC right with a 3.49 gpa and I was wondering if the prereq gpa is with all classes like english or just your science courses? I want to apply right now for the Fall 2011 semester. If I get accepted into the university and then apply to the program when would I find out?

May I ask what you r GPA's were when you were admitted into the program? I am currently waiting to hear back from NIU and the wait is torture!
