Okay, scrap the other q I had on the shox. I tried them on and they were pretty good. I was fairly sold that they'd be a good trade for the skechers. Then I tried the air max 2010, holy cow. I really like how light they are. They seem phenomenal right out of the box. Not like walking on spongy clouds like the skechers, but definately like walking on air.
They hug my foot perfectly, no rubbing whatsoever. They may not be good if you have a wide foot. I'm not quite narrow..narrow sized shoes will pinch, but my feet are on the narrow side. I just wonder if there's any sort of foot pain or leg pain after a shift...so I'm still hesitating, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to make the leap. They're expensive, but if it saves future doctor bills...I'm for it.
Anyone have them? Love to hear any experiences good or bad.

My best friend also a nurse bought a pair and within wearing them in two days they started falling apart so she took them back and went back to shocks she Loves them! But the airs do have a year warrenty on the bubble too though but she had a bad experience though. I don;t like the shocks bought a pair and my feet kill me i can't stand for my feet to rest touching the floor while sitting, but I got the widder ones and she has three pairs and she said get the narrow ones and they're good for 12 hour or 16 hours. Everyones different I'm looking to find "THe shoe" also so keep me posted!
oh wow! I just ordered them! I did try them on in a store, but I had a credit for Zappos since the other Skechers were uncomfortable b/c of the stitching.
Once thing I'm wary of is the flimsy looking "flywire". I have no idea if they will hold up walking through some snow (if it's bad I wear boots) or even rain. I'm thinking they're made for runners and that should mean all seasons, but I can't find any info online that says anything about their wear in crappy weather.
I did see one other review online about someone that said the bubble collapsed after a month but Nike replaced them. I don't want to deal with issues. I just want something that works. I'm not sure if there's a defect like that if Zappos will stand behind it, but thanks for the heads up that it happened to your friend, b/c I'll call them and see if the rtn policy would extend for defects. (they're good on that 365 day deal but they want the shoes in orig condition)
I'm willing to carry them if they don't work out in bad weather, but I hope they can at least last for work. I did try Shox and really like them too, but these were that much more comfortable b/c of having the cushion through the whole thing, not just the heel. Thanks again

I started out rocking the Shox, then I went to the Air Max 90 after a while. Those two both didn't do the trick after a bit. The thing is, I'm a Nike guy, I collect 'em, so I was really wanting the Nikes to work out. I then got a pair of Air Max 95, those were the best. Then I took the step and got some Z-Coils, the ugliest, stupidest looking shoe in the world. But my God, these freaking things feel great on my footsies. I'm in the ICU, so I have no tech backup, everything's on me. When I'm running around all night (12-hour shifts) these puppies really keep my dogs from achin'.
Just sayin.
