Night Classes at FCCJ

Published

Is it harder to get into the night program at FCCJ than the day program?

If you are planning on attending this summer the cut off is Feb and there are no night classes. They only hold night classes in the fall and spring.

I am fine with that, and have my application completed. I am just waiting to submit it. They begin accepting them Dec. 1st. Oh, and I need to wait until the middle of December because I need my Chem grade to post on transcripts. I am enrolled in that this semester.

It's so strange that I called FCCJ and they told me that they only have night classes during summer term. Also, a few others responded to a post of mine and said the classes are offered 2 nights a week and on the weekend at Deerwood. It's not really important to me, it's just so confusing because there are so many different answers floating around out there.

FCCJ has been adding programs when they can to try to accomodate more people. I believe this is the first time they will hold classes for the RN program at the Deerwood campus. You really have to stay on them to get updated info. They change things on the fly and will add a program without any prior announcement. As an example, they added a nights/weekend program to the fall term but it was unannounced and added at the last minute.
