Hi everyone, just looking for some general guidance! I am in my final semester of nursing school and recently found out that I am doing my preceptorship in the NICU (!!!). This was my first choice and I'm really excited but I am not really sure where to start in terms of reviewing content. I'm going to a level III unit that does not see surgical cases but is part of a hospital that has a good sized birth center and receives transfers from more rural hospitals. Any suggestions on how I should focus my review before I start? My maternal child rotation was about a year ago and I got to spend time on L&D, NICU and PP in the same hospital I am precepting at.

Congrats! Check out NICU Tala on YouTube, she's great. Believe she is an MD but she explains things very clearly. Best of luck!
