So I did a one day NICU rotation in LVN school. Babies aren't my thing so I didn't take much interest in that particular rotation and honestly don't remember much from that day.

My sister gave birth to premature identical twins yesterday. For the first time I had a person that I loved in the ICU and its NICU on top of it. I just want say thanks to all the NICU nurses out there. The babies nurse for today's day shift was absolutely amazing. I really don't know how yall do it with those fragile little babies but I am glad yall are there.

Both babies are fine now and should be discharged middle of next week as long as labs stay normal and they continue to eat well.

I'm so glad that you had a positive experience. We understand that nobody wants their child (or children!) to end up in the NICU, and so we want to make the experience as comfortable and caring as possible.

Thank you so much for sharing!! NICU can be tough some days, but seeing our 'graduates' go home to loving families makes all the difference in the world.

All the best to you and your growing family! The greatest gifts come in small packages :)
