NICU Nurses in Omaha?

are there any nicu nurses that work in omaha? i am just applying for jobs and am trying to find out some information about the different nicus in the area.

any information that you have to offer would be great.

I'm a NICU nurse, and live in Omaha, but have never worked here. My neighbor works in the NICU at Children's, and complains about inconsistent staffing, being called repeatedly to come in extra one week, and then being cancelled or floated due to low census the next. She does not speak highly of the management of her unit, but I don't think anyone could criticize the quality of care there.

The Med Ctr. and Creighton also have NICUs, as does Bergen Mercy. Good luck in your search!

Hi there :) I am a CNA in a level III NICU in Omaha. Private message me with any questions you have. There are quite a few NICUs here in Omaha 4 Level IIIs and a Level II.

I plan on going into NICU when I finish nursing school next spring, so I've done my research on the units in town.
