Safa Qurayshi's first instinct was to bury her heart - to give it a funeral - and ignore her friends' claims the human heart is nothing but a mass of muscle and blood.
"I know it's very bizarre, but it's my heart," says Qurayshi, who underwent a heart transplant in 2006.
"The heart has these connotations of love and kindness and it's what keeps you alive and it was a very difficult decision to make."
