I know Bethesda/NNMC does, I think San Diego and Portsmouth also have NICU. Those are the only ones I know of off the top of my head.

Specializes in ER/Tele, Med-Surg, Faculty, Urgent Care.

You should talk to a recruiter. I was in Navy Nurse Corps from 89-92 (almost 20 years ago)stationed at Bethesda. Back then the Navy did not care what type of nursing you had done ( I had 9-10 years of med-surg. The "Needs of the Navy" come first, so you might get placed on a med-surg or cardiac or other unit.

I was assigned to neuroscience and of course had no background in that. I had orthopedic, medical, gen surgical but Hey I learned a ton of Neuro stuff. Bethesda does have NICU. Not sure about Balboa or Porstmouth, that leaves Bremerton in Washington state for you to ask about.
