NICU Fellowship Mount Sinai NYC

Hi,

I applied to the NICU fellowship at Mount Sinai in NY. I wonder if anyone has heard back? Has anyone been able to find a recruiter that they can talk to in the application process to help?

Hi nursepipnyc,

I applied and reached out to a recruiter over linkedin. It took her a bit to respond, but have an in-person interview set up. Have you heard back yet?

I did the same thing. I reached out to a recruiter 1 month ago and she just responded to me last night. She said she would send my resume to the nurse manager so hopefully I get an interview. Is your interview soon? Good luck :))

I just heard back from the recruiter after submitting my application over a month ago. I scheduled an interview for next week, and they moved it closer because they said they want to make a final decision on applicants this week. Has anyone had an interview yet?

Interview went well! They asked me about why I want to be in the NICU, a time I had to escalate something, a time I had to deal with a frustrated family, asked me to talk about my related experience. Gave me a tour of the unit. The educator and manager were both very kind. Seems like a great unit!

I never even heard from the manager so I guess it's a no for me :/. I might have an offer in a PCU unit at Upenn so at least I have that. I wish you the best of luck in your nursing career!! I hope you get the position 🙂 Thanks for posting your update!

Yes, I heard back the same day after the interview that they wanted to offer me a position. Best of luck to you!

hi everyone! I am an out-of-state applicant just finding this nicu fellowship program for august 2025! wondering if you applied to this program on the mount sinai website or if you just reached out to the email address listed on the program's info page -- any info would be much appreciated 😊

Anyone get offered a position but didn't get a tour of the unit? I thought my interview went okay but they didn't offer me a tour of the unit :(
