I am considering applying at both facilities for a NICU position. Wanted to know what anybody thought about their orientation. How long & did you feel it prepared you well enough for the job?

Thanks.

Dont know much about MCCG but mixed reviews about docs at Henry. Have you thought about Egleston? That is where I am at, good and bead but overall better than the rest. Docs are great to work with, teaching facility, etc.

Orientation last about 2 days then they put you on the floor.

Peachgirl, which hospital are you referring to. I assume Henry. Have or Do you work the NICU there? If so, what's your opinion.

I was thinking you were speaking of application for NICU either for Henry OR MCCG. I am sorry. I am on the payroll @ MCCG though.:nurse:

I heard this weekend that MCCG is on a hiring freeze. Not good for us that are looking for jobs. I am going to apply online anyway to see what happens.
