NGG program in Ontario

Hi

I am looking for advice on NGG( New grad initiative program) in Ontario. I was hired as NGG RN last month in hospital. I did not like and it is causing me so much stress. Can I quit NGG program in Ontario or I have to complete program and accept position at same hospital.

Please share your suggestions.

Thank you

I am not familiar with the program since I'm not Canadian, but just sharing some advice:

No matter where you are, the transition from student nurse to licensed nurse is going to be stressful and uncomfortable. It is going to take at least a year, if not two, until you feel comfortable and competent in the role. If you change jobs before that (unless there are egregious issues like being required to work out of scope, etc), you will be taking yourself back to the beginning. If you can stick it out, it will get better.

Did you find the answer? I am on the same boat right now. I already quit, but my manager told me there are certain commitments to fill, but I do not want to go back to the hospital. I experienced to much stress during these 3 weeks. I prefer step out all together and find a different nursing job.
