Hi guys,
First, I want to congrat the new nursing students that just got acceptance letters
I got mine to both NGCSU and GPC. Now, I dont know what school I should go to. For NGCSU, I like the campus with nice view ( hehehe, sorry, this point does not relate to the program, but it does affect my mood ) , but I dont know if it is a good program or not. Plus, the school is far and tuition fee is higher than GPC. For GPC, it is close to my house, tuition fee is affordable for me, but I have been heard a lot of bad information on this school. Plus, GPC provides me with associate degree only.
Now, I am very perplexed, choosing between the two school. Please give me advice. I appreciate all of your advice and comment. Thank you very much.

I'm in my first semester at GPC and I love it! Nursing school is a lot of work. I think you will get out of it what you put into it. Having said that, I have felt very supported since I've been here. There are lots of resources available to you for your success. I know there are some old threads that talk about how horrible GPC is. I can't speak to that. I can only speak about what is happening right now and I can tell you that so far I have no regrets. I've seen people complain on old threads about old vids to learn skills- well that is not the case- Maybe it was in the past but thats not the case now. I feel that all of the instructors have been super helpful. Help is always there if you need it, just ask.
Hi mangooeach. Thank you for sharing with us your experience. Just asked my chemistry professor this morning and he said he preferes GPC because he is pretty sure that GPC nursing program is prestigious. So, I might go to GPC, then transfer to a 4 year school to finish my degree. Thank you very much!!!

this might help your decision - NGCSU does not allow you to go straight for a BSN. You must get the ASN first before you can begin the BSN program...so whichever school you decide it will lead to an associate's first.
