is where nurses who live in canada but work in the us.
is it worth doing? might it be profitable?
i heard that due to nexus card people can cross the us-canadian border just in 10 min.
where are detroit and windsor which are located within close proximity? can nurses benefit from that geographical feature?
thank you in advance.

Detroit and Windsor are just across the Detroit River from each other and there is the tunnel as well as the bridge that is available. If a straight road, then just a few minutes to travel in the first place.
If you look at a map, you can easily see it.
That card just saves time at the crossing but it does not waive any visa requirements, etc. And if someone does not work downtown, it really does not make any sense with commute times and the cost of gasoline right now.

why the commute times and gasoline should be a problem? the cities are so close. as i know nurses in america are played much better them in canada however i do not want to leave canada.
thank you in advance
You asked where Detroit and Canada were in proximity to each other, Detroit is just across the river from Windsor.
If one is not working in downtown Detroit, then the commute times on the freeway are not going to be the best and with gasoline at about $4 per gallon right now, there will not be much of a savings with commuting.
And salaries are actually higher some places in Canada because of the weak dollar at this time as well.
Not sure what you are specifically asking or why? The card for making quick trips across the bridge or tunnel is only for that, but all other requirements for working here are needed as well. Adn gasoline and commute times should always be factored into any job. Especially with the economy right now.
Do you actually live in Windsor? If not, commuting does not make much sense at all.
