I'm a recent June grad and I've applied to new grad programs prior to graduation but did not receive any offers. Generally, around what time should I be paying attention for the next cohort applications? When does the next cohort generally start? From what I've seen...it seems to be February?
I really want to go on a medical mission but I've afraid that it would interfere with the application/interview process for this next round. Any advice is much appreciated. The mission I want to go on leaves at the end of October and I wanted to stay until the end of November. It seems like the timing could be a bit tricky.

I'd pass up the mission this time around, unfortunately. Those hospitals that do have winter new grad programs generally start in January or February, which means they'll be interviewing in October and November. Applications will probably start going up online in August or September. Keep in mind that not all hospitals have winter programs, and those that do usually hire smaller groups in the winter, to reflect the fact that there are many more nursing programs that graduate in the summer.
