Newly licensed RN in NYS looking into RN to BSN online program... Need sound advice

Hi everyone... I'm a recent graduate with an associates degree in Nursing and just received my license a month ago. While I'm hopeful... I know that I'll have difficulty in getting a position (especially in a hospital) without a bachelors degree. I've been looking into many different online courses and the more I look, the more I have questions.

I've been contemplating Chamberlain because they seem to have the quickest and most direct route, without any clinical component. Costly, but can be done in under 1 year.

I'm specifically looking to hear from RN's in NYC/Long Island area that have completed the online program with Chamberlain and what their experience has been as far as employment and hospitals accepting their degree. Has the lack of clinical component within the BSN program hindered anyone from becoming employed? How receptive are hospitals/employers when they see a degree from Chamberlain? Or an out of state University?

I do plan on going further with my education down the line, so I am also concerned about the effects of this BSN degree when the time comes to go for MSN... say at a local in-state university. If anyone has any input in this area, that would be greatly appreciated.

I welcome any and all experiences/comments/advice. I have not had the opportunity in speaking with anyone with first hand experience specifically with Chamberlain, so I'm turning to this forum for some fresh advice (I've scoured the previous posts but many seem to be years old).

I'm in NY and I went with . Finished in under one term - much quicker and cheaper than the for-profit chamberlain.
