New York Presbyterian interview with nurse leaders new grad event summer 2014

I went to the top new grad invites only event on July 29th 2014 meeting with unit managers.

i was wondering if anyone who went to any of these event heard back from them since then?

I've heard some people get call backs in a year :/

Yeah, I think the best thing to do is apply to other places and hope for the best. I dont know if waiting for NYP to respond is going to secure us a job at this point. We may never know exactly when we will hear back so just apply and wait (it won't hurt us anyway to apply elsewhere). Im from NJ and took the NCLEX here so it will take some time to transfer to NY anyways so I'm not rushing much! But in the meantime I don't want to limit myself to just NYP especially since there's no guarantee we will hired anytime soon.

I also attended the new grad even in July and after emailing my recruiter was told that a couple managers were interested in inviting me in for a formal interview. However they haven't chosen a date yet to interview new grads. I was curious if anyone else got information like this or if they know when they were thinking of having interviews.

I haven't received any new information :/ How do you know who your nursing recruiter is? Is it just the person who has been sending me information about being a "top new grad" etc?

I went on an interview prior to the grad event so the person I met with before the actual interview told me she was a recruiter and collected info from me so she could search for potential new grad positions. I'm not too sure if it was just for that position but she is the one I have been contacting.

Hello All. I was wondering if anyone who attended the Top New Grad events in Jul/Aug 2014 (with brief meetings with nurse managers) has heard anything from the recruiters. Has anyone who was invited to interview for the Med/Surge float pool been accepted/ started work yet?

I spoke to the director on the phone this past Monday from AMN she told they'll be calling ppl soon for interviews with them
