hi everyone!
m new here. :balloons:
i graduated last march in the Philippines and m planning to apply for a nclex-rn exam specifically in new york state.
i know that they don't require a local license. right? because i have none since im not eligible to take a philippine local board exam since m a korean.
the question is that, can i process my papers (licensure by examination to NY BON and Credential verification for NY ) at the same time?
thanks everybody for reading and hoping for your kind reply.
have a nice day everybody and good luck to all of us!

i have another question:
is it a must that the application forms should be notarized in the US embassy?

Yes, have it done at the US Embassy. If you are not going to specifically work in NY, you may want to check out what the state where you wish to work requires. NY uses the CVS, and that is good only for NY. Most of the other states want the CES.
It pays to know exactly what you are going to do before you start. Writing the NCLEX-RN exam is the last step in the licensing procedure, not at the beginning. The exam is a national exam and the results are good for all fifty states.
