New To Home Health Nursing :)

I am a registered nurse and I usually work in telemetry/ICCU. I am trying to start a family so I'm leaving the hospital for a while and just landed a job at home health agency. This is all very new to me so I am looking for input on personal experiences with home healthcare, as well as tips for transitioning into this new field.

Hello! Are u doing visits or private duty? Adults or peds?

I am doing Adults and they are i guess regular home visits. I guess most of the patients are medicare so I have to do the initial assessment, wound care, meds, bloodwork and stuff like that. My biggest hurdle so far is understanding the Oasis assessment. there is so much information. Are you familiar with Oasis? If so, are there any easy ways to get everything straight or do you have any tips you could share with me??
