School nursing and MD office nursing come to mind, but they may want you to have experience. Another option is a surgery center or OR in a hospital. Try the Health Dept. (pay is not good, but you are requiring certain hours and may have to compromise). Good luck. The most impt. job now is your baby.

Hi all,
I have been looking for a job and I have realized that most of the jobs that I qualify for are 12 hour shifts at hospitals, BUT I have a 2 1/2 year old son, and the only decent day cares centers are only opened from 6:30a-6:30p (which would not work for a 7a-7p job). The hospital has a day care for their employess but I am not crazy about it and I DO NOT want to put him in day care for 14 hours!! I was wondering if anyone knew what type of nursing a new grad could do that would be 9-5 hours??? Am I dreaming.....LOL!!!!! Thanks so much.
