New psych nurse..good resources?

I just started on an inpatient psych unit this week. While I will get a good orientation, I'm wondering if anyone has any links for any sites that will help me learn? I'm coming from ICU, so I would like to get a jump start on some of the terminology that pertains to psych charting. I've been reviewing the different diagnoses, and all that. But anything that you know of I can check out would be a great help. Thanks.

SimplyComplicated:

Good enquiry! The DSMIV details Psych diagnoses and is a good place to learn the symptoms and criteria for each specific diagnosis. It does come in a handy pocket edition that specifically outlines each Psych diagnosis.

Another book, The Essential Guide to Psychiatric Drugs by Jack M. Norman MD is another resource that's worth reading.

Of course, AN.com is the Premier Place for discussing specific areas and getting feedback from those who have been there and done that.
