Specializes in CNA/LPN.

Yes, I think that would be a good idea! But try not to overwhelm yourself with practicing them. I was able to buy my textbooks about two weeks before my first semester started and I only looked at the first couple of chapters in each course because just by flipping through it I seen I could easily get overwhelmed, so be careful!

thanks very much for the input!

Congratulations! I will also be a new student in the fall! So excited to get started.

COngrats, Shalone80. I will be starting in August also and all I'm concentrating on right now is getting what vaccinations I may need, etc. I hadn't thought about studying from an Nclex book but that's a good idea :)

im starting in july and im so excited congrats and good luck!!!

Definitely read your nclex book, lab values are a must, and practice your dosage calculations...go online, print out some quick resources to review over the summer, but don't exhaust yourself, there will be plenty of that in the fall trust me. Just familiarize yourself with some of the things you will cover, however expect Anything!Good luck, I just graduated and I'm elated, you will be too.

awww, thanks sooo much for all your help!;)
