Is their still a big demand for nurses in north Carolina for new Grads?

I'm not sure about the LPN rates, but the RN rates seem to be slightly lower than average. It's a giant pay cut for where I'm coming from, but that's mainly due to cost of living. I'm not sure how FL compares, but the starting RN wages in the Triad area were low twenties ($21-22). Maybe that can give you a better idea on what the LPN wage would be?

Wow!!! I'm a LPN new grad relocating to NC from FL. What are the pay rates for new LPNS in NC?
I gradutaed in dec 2012 and was hired in LTC for 19.00 an hour with 1.50/shift diff for weekends...central NC

That's pretty good for a new grad. I hope they are still hiring when I get there in a few months. Lol
Lol I'm sure they will be considering LTC pays the most yet has a revolving staff door...good luck!
