New to New West and RCH

Hi all!

I just posted in the meet and greet forum, but thought I would pop in here as well. I am new to the Lower Mainland (grew up on the Island, went to school at UNBC, nursed there in PG for a year, now back here). Started working at RCH in Feb. and am eager to hook up with fellow nurses in the Lower Mainland area. It is hard to break in when you are a new face (and a float nurse - ick). I know there are cool chiquitas out there just like me craving nursing interaction. ;)

How do you like nursing at RCH so far? I work at RCH too, but in an non-nursing position. I am thinking that I would like to work there as a nurse once I graduate.

Have you checked out the quay in New West? Very nice in the Spring/Summer.

Hi, and welcome. I used to live in New West, and moved to Coquitlam last year. I work in LTC in Surrey. I love New West and miss living there, it is the perfect place to live, close, yet far from Vancouver...does that make sense? I used to spend alot of time at New West Quay...Feel free to email me anytime....
