New Member, Nursing student Sydney

Hello

I just joint allnurses as I am thinking of joining a nursing agency to do some pre registration nursing. I am an overseas student and have a working limitation whilst University is in session so I am looking for the best hourly rates in Sydney for Pre- registration nursing.

Any recommendations?

Hi Danielle - purely depends on the type of nursing work you are looking for.... pre reg work would limit you to RCA work in aged care facilities and you would have to chase different agencies for hourly rates. You are limited to number of hours you can work right?

Hi Danielle - welcome to allnurses :)

Alternatively you could look into work at a patient care attendant - we use them at my hospital to care 1:1 with patients who need close supervision but not by an RN: risk of wandering or falling, removing tubes etc
