You just have to enroll and everything is done for you the day of your class and time is what you're waiting for but the school will determine that for you. When you go to amazon you can choose the van day program and on the left hand side it has the courses listed the first 3 course numbers are for the first quater. You can verify with the program list your advisor should have given you if they didn't you can look it up in the website under becoming a student and looking at the lvn day program it will tell you how the quaters are broken down
All the books are on amazon it was brake the books down that you need per class and thr ones that are recommended. I do not know anyone personally that has taken the course but there are other students you can find on these boards just search galen and you will find boards that you can talk to other students on there is one that was posted I think that title is galen April 2014 Ive asked her a few questions and she normally gets back to me

Hi All!
I will begin attending Galen in a few short weeks (Oct 2014) and wanted to know if any current students could give me insight on registering for classes. I was told I would receive an email regarding this but was wondering how far in advance does registration begin? Also how exactly do you go about choosing the courses? Were all the books on the booklist really necessary? How far in advance did you order or purchase books? Did you enjoy the program and can you give any tips on how you were successful or what to look out for? Any responses will be truly appreciated I am so excited and anxious at the same time!
