New Jersey City University (NJCU) ABSN 2024

Hello everyone I wanted to start a thread for theNJCU  ABSN 2024 program since there isn't any created. We can share our stats, application status and keep each other update. Thanks all in advance.

I was at my work and as soon as I saw my acceptance email I literally danced LOL and wow you guys' HESI scores are so high. Anyone knows our future weekly schedule?

I saw in an old group it was 7-3 Monday-Friday and clinicals on a day of the weekend

@MarynaT I tried to find this information but this is what I've gathered so far:

NJCU has been in place longer and I believe it is more reputable since it has been going on for a longer amount of time. I believe NJCU has better facilities and technology as well. The class sizes are different as NJCU accepts 60 students but I've heard St. Peter's program is very small around 20 students.

st Peter's claims to be 25k flat rate but it doesn't include a lot of items apparently and there is an extra 3000 fee. NJCU is 13k per semester. The NJCU application was more competitive but I think both programs will be challenging regardless.

Also 12 months vs. 15 months. I rather complete the 12 month program and start working. I already put my deposit down towards NJCU 🙂

Has anyone contacted or heard from the admin about when we will have our orientation? I haven't received any emails from the school since I sent my deposit in early April.

@hy2024 on the acceptance letter is said June 24'. I haven't received anything from them either. I did log into the outlook with the njcu email and the only email I had was the receipt confirmation for the deposit.

Nope, I haven't heard from the school either even though orientation is supposed to be in June.

Hey everyone! 
Very excited/nervous for the program but soo happy I got in. Does anyone know if there's a group chat or anything started yet?  Also hoping to find out more about the class/clinical schedule but I'm assuming they'll go over that at orientation.

Same, I'm trying to remain more excited than nervous!

Hey, I know orientation is coming up but does anyone know if the clinical sites will be the ones that are closer to the Jersey City campus? On their website they state the affiliated hospitals but some of them are so far from the campus.
