New Jersey CDS & DEA Licensure

Hello,

Just got my first job as an NP. I am applying for a DEA license now and was wondering if anyone has experience doing this in NJ.

If so, can you tell me if the DEA application requires that I have a CDS registration number in NJ before applying, or is only my state license required?

I know it's state to state, so was hoping someone would have a little NJ knowledge on hand.

Thanks.
