Congratulations on securing a position in a hospital as a new grad! these days it seems harder to get in! After the Hospital/Nursing orientation which is about a week 9-5pm M-F, then the actual orientation is 3 days a week day shift 7am-7pm for a couple of weeks, then night shift 7pm for some more orientation before you are now on your own.

Thank you so much for that info!
I've been so thankful for them finally reaching out to me! I passed my boards in July. After applying multiple times and at other hospitals, I was so happy to be offered the opportunity.
Thanks again!!

I'm a new RN BSN graduate and I've been offered a job at Montefiore in the Bronx. After passing the dosage and medication exam, I accepted the offer, pay, unit, and night shift. I'm currently on the boarding process.
Can any current or past RN employees of montefiore give me some information at orientation? I was told it's 4 months but, is it 5 days/40 hours a week? Is it during the day? Or does it vary? How was the experience overall?
I'm a bit nervous yet excited ?
Thanks!
