New Hire Orientation

Hello everyone,

I am a new Nurse Educator and I am in the process of creating a schedule for new hire orientation. Are there any resources or templates available that would be beneficial? I would like to incorporate theory, case studies, and skills lab.

Ah, OK. I’m personally most familiar with specialty orientation on an acute care procedural unit. Our specialty organization has a wealth of scenarios available to members that we can utilize. It might be worthwhile to see what the community nursing specialty organization has as resources to see if they offer something similar.
