new to this...HELP??

Hi, I am new to this board. I completed Nursing I at Gloucester County College a couple years ago, and took some time off. I've been looking for programs in the area, but am unsure. I really want to get involved in an accelerated program if possible. Any ideas?? I'd like to get back in school as soon as possible (January) perhaps in Philly. If anyone has info on schools, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Congratulations for deciding to return to school!

La Salle has an excellent accelerated BSN program. You can elect to "exam out" of certain courses. They have a FT coordinator that administrates this program.

They teach for the real world which is important in today climate. Nurses at all levels are being called upon for outcomes management, CQI etc.... There is also a HOT market right now outside of "nursing" for nurses. Preparation at the baccalaureate level is very important when you are going on to a masters.

Still a student myself,

Jennifer

Hello

You can try in Union county college. It does not have a waiting list so far.

Muhlenberg Hospital Programme offers 1 year accelerated course for RNs .It's a full time Day only course.

You need to have a green card or citizenship to qualify for this programme.
