There is a constant barrage of information about 'losing the patient focus' in healthcare & too much attention to non-clinical amenities.... lots of AN'ers feel the same way.

It is a homework assignment to ask a question on a nursing website. I could ask anything I wanted, I've heard about hospitals losing focus and focusing more on patient satisfaction, which sometimes is not the best for their health issues. I understand where they were going with this but I think a lot of people take satisfaction as were they waited on promptly and did they get cookies for a snack rather than did the healthcare team take care of your issues and was helpful in keeping you informed. Maybe the questions need to be reworded, more healthcare related instead of as a customer.
