New Graduate in CT.. options?

Hello all I am soon to be graduating from nursing school and looking into my options for employment.. I have no previous medical background (I currently am a waitress) and don't know too many nurses so I don't have too many nurses to ask questions to.. I am not really liking my clinicals at the hospital or long term care but I enjoyed my pediatric rotation at an elementary school. I was wondering if anyone has information for how to get into these positions? Do I need to have a lot of experience to get hired in a school? Also, I'm in an associate's program, will they require a bachelor's or master's for this position?

Any info or tips for new grads applying for jobs is greatly appreciated by the way :)
