New grad seeking housing in San Antonio or any suburbs

Hi,

I am a new grad from Phoenix, AZ and just accepted a position in San Antonio, TX. I will be working at baptist medical center and I am trying to find a house in San Antonio or any suburbs. I am do have a child and I am looking for a good safe area to raise my daughter in. If anyone could give me any pointers, directions or realtors to contact?!?!?! It would be greatly appreciated!!!

the homes around the medical center are decent. If you go down hwy 410 to hwy 151, the homes around 151 area, potranco rd, are not too far from the medical center and are very nice.. They are very safe as well. I grew up in this area and still live around there.

I am also in a similar situation. Just got an offer for a position in San Antonio, TX at Baptist Medical Center on the Telemetry Unit. I am also a new grad from Phoenix, AZ and have no idea on what the areas are like there. Unless I get an offer in Phoenix in the next few days, I will be going there in Feb. Hope to see you there!

Oh wow, you are on the tele floor too? Which shift did you get? I am going to be working Days. I am from Peoria and I graduated back in August at Grand Canyon University. What about you?

I graduated in August at carrington college with my adn, I live in north phx, yes tele 5D but nights! I was going to do my bsn at GCU, but now since I am moving I am unsure...congrats and maybe I'll see you there!!!

The medical center is on the Northwest side of town. Anywhere on the north side of San Antonio is better than the South side. At which Baptist location will you be working?

I am also a new grad with an ADN and I applied to two positions in the tele unit (days and nights). How long did you wait to get an interview from the time you applied? Thank you in advance :)
