I will be beginning my first RN position at the end of this month on a medical cardiology floor. I am excited, nervous, and want to try and prepare myself as much as I can. What are some recommendations for topics to review before I get on the floor? Aside from that any advice for a new grad rn would be MORE than appreciated.

My standard advice: Review as much Khan Academy material as possible including the integrated quizzes (this would include Biology, MCAT, physiology and other relevant sections). Also consider subscribing to Lecturio.com and reviewing as much of the material as possible. It essentially includes an entire medical school curriculum review and will more than give you an excellent overview and build upon the foundation already laid by your nursing school education.
