If you're in an accelerated program, and won't be able to complete the 'Masters portion', what degree will you have at the end? If you don't have a BSN, you're going to have a great deal of difficulty getting a job in a DFW hospital. This is a huge geographic area, so you may want to narrow your search based on where you are going to be living. You may have better luck in outlying communities.

Hello.
I am finishing up my accelerated RN year at UCSF in CA. I need to relocate to the Dallas-Fortworth, TX area due to my husband's work, so I will not be able to complete my Oncology Master's portion of my degree. I will be looking in the fall of 2013 for a new grad position or some sort of per diem work in the area. My specialty area of interest is adult and pediatric oncology, but I am open to other fields if necessary. I would very much appreciate any guidance you can offer in terms of good hospitals, interview timing and process, what positions I will be eligible for with a new RN license, etc.
With gratitude.
