One of my nursing school colleagues moved out there after graduation with her sister. Her sister's husband is a physician there so she thought she would have an easier time finding a job with his connections. She spent over a year there looking before giving up and moving to the mainland. Hopefully since you do have experience, you will have an easier time.

Wow, i hope my work experience will be accepted since it was overseas.
I would love to visit Hawaii, but I would hate to have to find a job there. There is a Hawaii section of the site. I think you'll be creating quite a challenge for yourself by moving there.
I will look that up. Yeah, that's what i am thinking but i have no choice since my family and I are moving.

Anyone here from Hawaii? Does a New Grad RN can easily find a job in Hawaii?
I am curious because my family and I are moving in less than 2 months.
I recently pass my Nclex RN (I have 5 years work experience outside US as RN and LPN), i want to find a job in Hawaii. Its so hard to start over in a place I know nothing about and no friends to ask around.
Any inputs/advices will be greatly appreciated. Thank You
