New Grad RN ED or Tele

I received 2 offers from two different hospitals. Im a new grad and im unsure which one to pick..both are so appealing. while in school I never LOVED floor nursing. Tele was interesting but Its definitely not my first choice. ED was one of my first choice specialities to begin in however the Dayshift and 10 mins drive for the Tele unit is just so appealing to me. Im unsure if I should take the tele position and try to transfer to the ED after a year or just jump right into the ED and deal with it being night shift and a longer commute. I know the decision is ultimately mine to make but any insight would be greatly appreciated.

First hospital

• Emergency Department (non trauma hospital)
• Night Shift
• 30-1 hr commute (20 miles)

Second hospital

• Tele
• Dayshift
• 10 mins from home (5 miles)
