hey guys I'm a new grad RN looking for a job in southern california/east of los angeles area. I am interested in doing a residency program. when I was looking at residencies in my area I found out for most, you needed to have your license when applying. since I recently passed my NCLEX in July, I missed most fall cohorts. I am currently looking for the start dates/application periods for residency programs in Winter 2025-26/Spring 2026. so far I have compiled my own list as follows. the hospitals at the bottom are ones I could not find information on. if you guys have any more information please comment below or just following if you're in the same boat! ◡̈ side note- I am most interested in mother baby unit, but am open to starting anywhere. I've applied to 6 PP positions and received 2 rejections. if you know any small hospitals as well that accept new graduates, please let me know.

ugh I was working on my cover letter and it would not let me go back and add it and when I clicked submit it wouldnt work so I withdrew my submission, and made a different account just for it to say the job is no longer available. but on job search page it is visible 😞

Thanks! I appreciate knowing this info. 🙂

Can confirm this, I got a call from their nurse recruiter(who was very nice and seemed eager for new grads) and she said that their posting now is just for OR and that they would be posting for other departments -soon-. She said I was welcome to keep my application for the OR if I was interested but that if I wanted I could apply to the other departments too. So I guess it just depends how pick you are.

Try using Firefox. my way of doing it is going to the careers page, clicking ANY job postings apply now, and logging in through there. if I try to do it through the portal it never works

you're welcome! I totally felt that, and cover letters are definitely a pain to tailor to every institution you want to apply to. good luck with your applications!
thank you so much! just submitted my application.. hope that I'll hear from them LOL
