That is a good sign! Hopefully, they will reach out to you soon.

I was also contacted regarding ICU this morning. Does anybody know what this program is like or the culture at this hospital?

anyone have the link to apply if the application is still open? Thank you

sorry I don't see it up on their website anymore. I didn't think they'd take it down already after a day or two

That is great! Hope they will call you for an interview soon. Goodluck! Please keep us posted.

Thanks! The phone call wasn't really an interview after all LOL the recruiter explained the structure of the program, what to expect, and the rates. She mentioned they're hiring 4 for SDU (2 days, 2 nights) and the start date is Sept 22. They sent out a survey link with questions to answer and lmk that it'll go to the unit manager to review next week and from there they'll choose who they want to do virtual interviews, then a panel interview, and hopefully offers by end of the month.

She did say that today is the first day contacting people and sending out the link so there's still a chance if you applied and haven't hear back yet! Also, my application status on their website did change to "Under Consideration" now so check on that status too.

mine says candidate pool. didn't get called yet

During the initial phone screening, the recruiter said there are a total of 20 positions (18 in Culver City and 2 in Hollywood)

After I did the phone screening , the email she sent me said 3 for Hollywood. I hate how it's so little

Yeah, there are 3 spots for ICU hollywood. 1 days and 2 nights. I could have sworn there was another unit open to new grads at hollywood though which would mean they are taking more than 3 total new grads at hollywood but maybe they are only offering ICU. I cant remember

on a facebook group for socal new grads, I saw someone who was a part of the new grad residency for hollywood from an older cohort say they left after 8 months because they kept floating them back and forth between urgent care and tele while still trying to finish up the residency program. The things I've been hearing are that you learn alot there but it is hard work. That it's hard to reach MDs to put in orders and things like that. I also just recently found out that Culver City doesn't have parking too. I also saw another comment saying the education days were 12 hours long.

I would check out that group on facebook!
