Does anyone know of any hospitals hiring for new grad RNs in the 757/ HamptonRoads area in Virginia? Your help would be appreciated

RN or LPN?
Sentara has several hospitals in the area; so does Bon Secours. They tend to be somewhat new-grad friendly...however, both have their own nursing programs so their grads get priority before they consider other new grads. It is possible to get hired into either one of these systems; it just may take a while. In addition, Bon Secours has a new grad program that you must go through.
There's Chesapeake Regional, but from what I remember there's a new grad program there too. CHKD prefers BSNs so if you don't have that you're not really a contender unless you have related pediatric nursing/healthcare experience.
There is also the Navy Medical Center Portsmouth, the VA Medical Center and Riverside (which also has its own nursing school).

Chesapeake has a program but hard to land a spot. Start volunteering now at hospitals to get in the door

I work at CHKD without a BSN. You are looked at quicker, will be offered a Job with BSN, but you can get a job without one. Just be persistent.

What about home health? Some home health agencies may hire you without acute care experience. Not Maxim, but PSA might. Also look at correctional nursing, the agencies that hold contracts often will hire newer RN's and you'll get good training (from what I hear).
