I took NCLEX 3 weeks ago. I am sure that I passed. But my school just sent my transcript to BON although I graduated in the early June. BON told me that I had to wait 4-6 wks to process. Start sending out resumes but no one interested coz of no license. Feel really frustrated. I studied so hard during nursing school to be a top one student. Ended in huge debt and jobless. Really need to pay off my credit cards with high interest rate. What should I do now? Thx

There's not really much you can do. At this point, your really close to having the license most places won't really consider you until you have the license. In this economy it may take a while to find a job anyway. You could take some sort of other job. Often you can negotiate with credit card companies, explain your situation, they will often be willing to take small payments instead of nothing. You are not alone in the mountain of debt.

caihong, sorry to say, but its not like hospitals are handing out jobs anyway so if I were you, just continue looking around for jobs and apply for them. its a tough market out there. I've been unemployed since getting licensed, 2 months ago.
Thanks for ur suggestions. Just pick up whatever job I can get now. Really disappointed. When I changed my major to nursing I thought I would never worry about finding a job as a RN.
